As part of major upgrades to Victoria’s roads and commuter infrastructure, Scope Australia was engaged to assist in the construction of the Surf coast regions Barwon Heads Road upgrades over the three year project lifetime.

The four stage project, starting in 2021 saw upgrades to Barwon Heads Road between Settlement Road, Belmont and Reserve Road, Charlemont, to improve safety and traffic flow with the build of a new walking and cycling path, as well as major bridgeways over the railway line at Marshall. Scope Australia’s role in the major development focused on the management of import and export materials to the project site and the effective disposal and resume of waste materials.
